Teeth bite and chew,
Savor with my tongue:
A piece of you.
Allowing me to be fed intellectually
Filling me collectively,
Dissecting words phonetically,
Tasting you overwhelmingly
Appetite.
You are the one I think of
As my heart growls for you,
Because I won't be satisfied
Until peace is rectified
In my being.
My appetite is one of desire,
Like the cliche,
You set my soul on fire,
The cache that lies within
Wants to explode
As we touch, as we flow
As we both go to a place
That we both come to know...
But in the end.
We lay there full.
Waiting for the next time
We become hungry again.
Appetite.
