I guess you never will really be affected,
Unless it hits home.
Today I found out that my friend has cervical cancer. That really made me sad because I have known her for a long time and she means a lot to me. It makes me mad because all she does is sit in the house all day unless her boyfriend takes her out. It pains me because all the friends that she has never visits her and I am mad because to not care, is really something unethical that I question everyday.
Why do we care?
I do because as a Christian it is worthy to do unto others as you would like them to do onto you. If its not money, then let it be a caring act of kindness. Something that should be done without expecting anything in return. Something from your heart.
I had to write about this because not many people know about it and people should read up on this issue.
I know I don't have much, but I know when I do, I give what I can.
